The Voice Vs. The X Factor.

Can you imagine, it's a Wednesday night and you're wondering what to do for the last hour of your night. You sit down and turn on the television. You notice The Voice, your favourite show from last year is on. You quickly turn it on and hurry to catch up on what you've missed. Suddenly your mom comes in and tells you to see what else is on. You huff and search the guide. In the 200's you notcie Simon Cowell's The X Factor is on. Your mom asks you if you watch it, you glumly reply no because you know whats coming next.
"Well let's check it out" your mom demands.
You click the select button, disappointed, you tune into a screeching, ear- bleeding noise, and relaize it's a contestant on The X- Factor singing. You quickly switch back to The Voice, never to hit recall again. This is why I choose The Voice over The X Factor.

The Voice, and The X factor have been outted for having problems and competition between the two shows since the start of their seasons. Simon Cowell from The X Factoris brutally angry and trashing, The Voice's Blake Shelton. All of this drama because they share a night of entertainment for their fans. I personally, love watching The Voice because the judges are funny and have a great friendship ostage and off stage. The Voice's judges always tell the contestant why or why not they picked them, they don't leave them in the dark to wonder, "what did I do wrong". Where as the X factor I found, just humiliated the contestant, and left them with no help as to how to make themselves better for the future. I like The Voice, because even when you don't get chosen to be touched by one of the four judges talented skills, you leave their with their advice as to how to improve yourself for the next, "big chance".

The X Factor recently traded a few judges. In with the new, out with the old. Last season they had  Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, this season, they have upgraded to Brittany Spears and Demi Lovato in hope that their ratings with spike. Not only are the shows competing for more viewers, There is also judge rivalry, not just between Simon and Blake, but also Brittany and Christina. I find that The X Factor causes/ stirs up a lot of unwanted drama. Even on the stage, Brittany and Simon are known for being the rude and harsh judges. They make the contestants feel badly about themselves and  I feel this may bring some viewers who find it funny to destroy dreams, and may lose viewers for the same reason. Even on The Voice, the judges, may sugar coat it but if they have a bad singer in front of them, they tell them how to improve and to never give up on their dream. In a way bringing their dreams back to life.

In the beginning intro to The X Factor, they spend about 10 minutes listening to the judges talk about the auditions and their ambitions, and the new judges. After a while it drags on for too long and it seems like their just wasting time. Where as The Voice recaps on the singers who made it on to the team and talks to the judges about their ambitions and goals for their teams. It only last about 5 minutes and then gets on with the show. I find that this is also common with the show it's self. I found that the X Factor only showed about one to two singers in between breaks. where as the voice got about three or four singers through. I felt The X Factor was just wasting time that they didn't have. which made it very boring for me.

I enjoy watching The Voice, because it sends out a positive message and always keeps me guessing on who will make it, who will turn around, and who will win the singer over, and I know for a fact that once the show kicks off it'll just get that much more interesting for me.
